Whether you are looking for a place to explore faith, seeking a supportive community for your family, or searching for a fresh start, you belong here.
At Gresham Park Christian Church, we are a multi-generational community of believers walking out our faith together. Established by God’s Grace, we have spent decades serving as a spiritual anchor in Decatur. Today, we are excited to step into a new season of growth—building vibrant, energetic spaces where young adults, children, and families can connect, find support, and thrive together.
Who We Are
-
We ARE... Kept by Grace.
-
We are deeply thankful to even be here by God’s Grace. He has brought us together as a body of believers to exalt His Son, Jesus Christ—the One whose death and resurrection gives us peace with God and the hope of Heaven. His grace and mercy are the common threads that bind us as one family.
-
-
We ARE... All Members of One Body.
-
It is our shared goal to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace (Ephesians 4:3). We strive to be a bright light in our community, serving as a peaceful refuge for those in chaos, a place of forgiveness for the guilty, and a living hope for the hopeless.
-
-
We ARE... Guided by God's Purpose.
-
We are a church mandated by God and revealed in His Word. Our course has been charted by God, our destiny has been planned by Him, and our purpose has been clearly defined by Him. As we grow, we are dedicated to listening to His voice and actively serving the evolving needs of our neighborhood.
-
Growing Together
Our sincere prayer is that you will find God's unconditional grace among us, and that together, we can live up to everything He has called us to be. No matter where you are on your spiritual journey, we invite you and your family to grow with us!

What We Believe
-
Designed for Purpose (God is Sovereign)
We believe you were intentionally created by a loving God to live a life of deep purpose, service, and unbroken connection with Him. Because Jesus holds ultimate authority over all creation, we choose to anchor our lives, our families, and our worship in His leadership. Explore the truth: John 1:3 | Psalms 103:19
-
Called to Evolution (God is Holy)
God is entirely good, pure, and just. Because He loves us too much to leave us as we are, He invites us into a process of transformation—turning away from things that hurt us and stepping into a life of integrity, wholeness, and holiness.
Explore the truth: Acts 2:38 | 1 Peter 1:16
-
Restored by Grace (Jesus is Lord & Savior)
None of us are perfect, but God’s love provided a bridge. Through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus, the weight of our past is completely lifted. By placing our trust in Him, we receive unconditional forgiveness, new life, and a fresh start.
